Beach WA 547 consists of two arcs of sand totalling 700 m in length. The narrow rock strewn eastern arc links to the longer, wider western arc, which has a small foredune to the rear, then vegetated slopes rising to 120 m. While there are rocks littering the inner surf zone, a sandy sea bed dominates with two strong rips draining the 200 m wide surf zone.
