Beach WA 546 lies 100 m to the west and occupies a slight indentation in the backing 100 m vegetated high cliffs. A few patches of foredune have accumulated at the base of the cliffs. The beach is 250 m long, bordered at each end by the bluffs, with a near continuous broken beachrock reef in between. Waves averaging 1.5-2 m break 150 m seaward of the reef over a sandy seabed, with a strong rip originating from a small gap towards the western end of the beach and flowing out through the surf.
