Beaches WA 561 and 562 occupy a small 400 m wide embayment located 1.5 km east of West Cliff Point. Calcarenite reefs extending 600 m seaward of the shore, result in low waves within the embayment. Beach WA 561 is a curving 250 m long, narrow strip of high tide sand, backed by bare eroding 30-40 m high calcarenite cliffs, with a shack located above the western end of the beach. Waves average less than 1 m at the shore.
