Circus Beach (WA 520) is located 1.5 km west of Nornalup Inlet and Rocky Point. It is a 1.7 km long, southwest facing beach exposed to high waves. These maintain a 400 m wide double barred surf zone, with usually two strong central rips, and two boundary rips, as well as some rocks in the eastern surf (Fig. 4.114). It is backed by climbing vegetated dunes that in the past have blown 1 km across the point to the shore of Nornalup Inlet. Two walking tracks lead from the inlet to either end of the beach, with no vehicle access. Thompson Cove is located 3 km east of Point Nuyts.
