Beach WA 571 is a 250 m long strip of sand separated from the main Salmon Beach by a 100 m section of protruding calcarenite. The steep 100 m high bluffs continue behind the beach with rock debris littering the back of the beach. The main surf zone continues past the bluffs and along the beach, with usually one large rip draining out from the beach. The only access to the beach is around the base of the rocks at low tide.
