Beaches WA 596 and 597 are adjoining pockets of sands at the base of 80 m high calcarenite cliffs. Beach WA 596 is 250 m long and drained by a strong central rip with waves breaking 200-300 m offshore. The surf continues past the intervening 100 m wide protrusion in the cliffs to beach WA 597, a 400 m long strip of sand. It consists of a 200 m long wider beach, then a narrow rock littered western half. Rips exit from both ends of the beach, with a strong permanent rip against the western rocks. There is no safe access to either beach.
