Beach WA 602 extends 2 km from the beachrock reef to White Point, another low calcarenite reef, with scattered shallow reefs extending up to 500 m offshore the length of the beach. As a result of the reef waves height varies along the shore between 1 and 1.5 m, with the beach a mixture of some surf and rips, low tide terrace and a few reflective sections, together with scattered beachrock along the shore. It is backed by a partly unstable foredune, and three large blowouts extending up to 1 km inland, with older vegetated dunes up to 4 km inland. There is a good 4 WD track off the main track to White Point. A gate at the beginning of the track indicates this is private property, however the public access is permitted to the beach. The beach is a popular fishing location, as well as offering a few surf breaks over the inshore reefs.
